The HIDROSTANK chambers are designed to guarantee a correct installation of the standard cast iron frames and covers/grids. (See correspondences in the Chamber section)

Installation;
Position frame and cover/grate. Receive with concrete or mortar the 10 or 15 cm. depending on the finishing pavement (tile, terrazzo…) leaving the chest completely finished. The frame is placed and received in the traditional way

The proliferation of thefts of cast iron lids has caused the greater receptivity of both the administration and contractors to use plastic lids as an alternative. These thefts not only entail serious economic damage, but also pose risks to the safety of vehicles and pedestrians.

Hidrostank has been promoting the use of its composite lids for several years since, in addition to reducing theft, they present some characteristics that make them highly recommended:

• Its ergonomics offer more safety for field personnel and logistical advantages on site (less personnel, machinery, quick response).
• Its electrical insulation offers greater safety to pedestrians.
• It has high resistance to compression and corrosion. UV radiation does not affect the performance of the product.
• Also, since the radio signals pass freely through the cover, they allow possible remote control, telemetry, event detection.

Especially suitable for installing in areas where the aesthetics of the pavement must be respected.

Cover indicated to be filled with concrete, terrazzo or similar. They incorporate 4 fixing screws and nuts, with a neoprene gasket to guarantee its tightness.

• Its installation is recommended both indoors and outdoors.
• They are also supplied with external plates for safe formwork.

Stainless Steel Manufacturing offers this product in standard dimensions of 400×400 mm up to 1000×1000 mm, being able to manufacture other measurements on request.

Manufactured in AISI 304 and AISI 316 stainless steel

WATERTIGHT LID:

This is a lid that allows us to close manholes, both masonry and polypropylene, and access to tanks with total sealing.
Made of stainless steel, together with its screwing system, with a neoprene gasket to guarantee its tightness.
They are manufactured in dimensions from 40×40 mm to 1000×1000 mm, being able to manufacture other measurements on request. In turn, all our covers can be supplied with a brake cylinder to facilitate opening and closing.
To simplify its fixing to the cement, it incorporates external plates, thus preventing possible misalignments of the frame, while avoiding leaks.

Manufactured in AISI 304 and AISI 316 stainless steel
