ENEL (formerly CODENSA) and EPM, the two main Colombian electricity companies, have just approved the HIDROSTANK modular manholes for the new projects they plan to develop in Colombia.   HIDROSTANK has collaborated during the last years with the technicians of both companies to define the models for the cable ducting. HIDROSTANK has recently supplied its innovative modular reinforced PP manholes at the Núñez de Balboa photovoltaic plant that IBERDROLA has built in Usagre (Badajoz)   According to the company’s website (https://www.iberdrola.com/conocenos/lineas-negocio/proyectos-emblematicos/planta-fotovoltaica-nunez-de-balboa), “the plant, which will have an installed capacity of 500 MWp (391 MW of maximum network connection power) after its entry into operation – planned for the first quarter of 2020 – will supply clean energy to 250,000 people, more than the population of the cities of Cáceres and Badajoz, thus avoiding the emission to the atmosphere of 215,000 tons of CO2 per year. ”   HIDROSTANK have worked closely with the technicians of the awarded EPC company to define the best solution for the telecommunications & CCTV ducting.   For several years, HIDROSTANK has been collaborating in the execution of solar and solar plants, where the characteristics and advantages of its manholes (its easy installation and handling, together with its great resistance) enable to fulfil, and in some cases shorten, the demanding deadlines of execution.   This project joins the numerous projects already carried out in EUROPE, LATAM, AFRICA and MIDDLE EAST

HIDROSTANK has supplied its HIDROBOX attenuation crates (also known as Storm Cells, Soakaway Modules, and StormCrates) in the UE7B urbanization “Ronda Sur” in Cobeña, Madrid   HIDROSTANK has worked closely with the technicians of both the construction management and the awarded construction company in the definition of the solution finally adopted.   The proposal, which had the prior approval of the Canal de Isabel II (public company in charge of the integral water cycle in the Community of Madrid) consisted of two tanks of 830 and 80 m3   The ease of assembly of HIDOBOX infiltration crates, certified by Bureau Veritas, enabled a very rapid installation of the tanks.   Its modularity enables, not only to optimize both transport and storage at destination, but also a dimensioning according to the requirements of each project.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QnhADIo_gw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka5uIwbCMr4

HIDROSTANK has recently supplied its PAS-type weir screens at the WWTP in Aranjuez, Madrid.   Although the theoretical capacity of the original Aranjuez WWTP had not been exceeded in terms of flows, the increased pollutant load with respect to the design scenario and the more stringent requirements, made it impossible for the existing plant to achieve compliance.   As a result, Canal de Isabel II decided to undertake the necessary actions to ensure compliance with the targets set in the National Water Quality Plan.     HIDROSTANK has worked closely with the technicians of both the promoter of the WWTP (Canal de Isabel II, S.A.) and the awarded joint venture (GS Inima-Asteisa) and the technical assistance of Técnicas Reunidas, in the definition of the solution finally adopted.   Hidrostank designs, manufactures and installs PA- type weir screens, one of which is installed at the Aranjuez WWTP. These screens have a high solids retention capacity and a simple, effective cleaning system. The screens feature a perforated grid of 5 or 6 mm in diameter, incorporating a pump that sends a jet of water through an ejector to keep the perforated grid clean. The pump has a cover that enables maintenance operations from the outside, differentiating the unit from competing products.   PAS type screens can be installed in new facilities or retrofitted to existing weirs. During the last months, HIDROSTANK has continued with its international commitment and has taken part in several fairs around the world.   In the middle of last year, HIDROSTANK participated in EXPOARCON, a construction fair held in Lima (Peru), a country where the HIDROSTANK manholes have been approved by PRONATEL for their fiber deployments.   Months later, WNM Ltd, our distributor in NIGERIA, presented our innovative modular pull boxes at the Big 5 Construct Nigeria fair that took place in Lagos in September. The Big 5 Construct Nigeria is the largest construction event in the country.   At the end of the year, Menashe Baruch, distributor of HIDROSTANK in Israel, presented both our access chambers and our solutions for sustainable drainage (SUDS) at the 11th Construction and Infrastructure Conference that was held in Tel Aviv.

HIDROSTANK was present at the last edition of ANGA COM that took place from 4 to 6 June 2019 in Cologne (Germany).   ANGA COM is the reference fair for the telecommunications sector in Europe, which is attended by the main broadband operators and content providers.   Hidrostank presented its innovative modular access chambers for telecommunications, approved by TELEFONICA, VODAFONE, ORANGE SPAIN…   The HIDROSTANK pull boxes, made of 100% recycled polypropylene, enable faster fiber deployments, with important reductions in manpower and machinery.   ANGA COM 2019 ended with an excellent result of more than 20,000 participants and over 500 exhibitors .
