This year HIDROSTANK has supplied their HIDROBOX attenuation cells(also known as Storm Cells, Soakaway Modules, and StormCrates) in a project HIDROSTANK has supplied its HIDROBOX cells in the Singular Bridge project on M-12 and connection with New Terminal Area (NAT) of the Madrid-Barajas airport T-4
In 2017 FERROVIAL began the construction of the bridge that will connect Madrid, through the Airport City-Parque Valdebebas, with Terminal 4 of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. The work had an execution period of 24 months and the investment exceeds € 20 million.
The connection represents a key milestone for the city of Madrid and the improvement of its accesses, by becoming a new entrance to the capital and providing the airport with additional access to the center of Madrid, through the neighborhood of the Airport City — Valdebebas Park.
HIDROSTANK worked closely with technicians from both the Technical Office and the contractor in the definition of the solution finally adopted.
The modularity and ease of assembly of the HIDROBOX attenuation crates, certified by Bureau Veritas, enabled a very rapid installation of 14 infiltration tanks, enabling sustainable management of urban drainage (SUDS).
Its modularity allows not only to optimize both the transport and its storage at destination, but also to dimension the cells according to the requirements of each project:
